Stamps going up... again.

Hey, that reminds me, I have to take some letters (delivered to my house & for the previous owner) to the Post Office. Hell, it's only been almost three years, and his name and that of my wife do share a few letters, so mebbe this'll be the year they figure it out. While I do that, I'll have to try to keep from thinking about all of my mail that's probably still being delivered to random addresses in California and Texas. On a related note, time to pull my credit history again, and check to make sure that no one opened up a credit account for me from one of those addys, as well. After all o' this, I do have that one mortgage bill that I need to switch over to direct withdrawl.

Thanks, USPS!

Good idea Murph... Word of warning on the direct withdrawl, you "may" get a 30 day gap in payments if you're not careful. Friend of mine did that, was told it would start on date X, it actually started on date Y, and he was 30 days late for almost three months before he and the mortgage company got it all straightened out.

Hey Murphy,

I just started using www.paperlessmail.com because I move a lot these days, and now I don't have to worry about being in Argentina or Thailand or wherever, I'll still get my letters. Maybe it'll help you too.

Old NFO: Yeah, I had that happen a couple of times, with my cable (TWC) dunno what the deal was, but the third time was the charm. It'd go w/o saying that I'd be extra careful with the mortgage...

Jeremy Pope: Interesting idea, but about the only thing I get snailmail is junkmail, nowadays, despite the ole opt out business... Unrelated, your name rings a bell and probably just a coincidence, but where/did you go to college?
