Been there, done that, got the t-shirt, bumper sticker, and new set of cammies, afterward. Didn't find it humerous at the time, if I recall, but it sure puts a smile on my face, nowadays...
Grab a cue, I'll rack 'em. Let me tell you a story I like to call...

Guess there IS something to that warning sticker that reads:
"PLEASE PRACTICE EXTREME CAUTION WHEN OPENING ROLL - OPEN SLOWLY"
"boiiiiiiinnnnggggg"
(hint - NEVER unrap concertina wire on a MONDAY)
Carry On.
And you wonder why I went in the Navy??? :-) Yep, THAT qualifies as a bad day at the office...
"Nah kid, you don't need those special gloves, just use your black shells..."
Always hated messing with that crap.
I lost a chunk of meat out of my side throwing a roll of concertina over a fence. Ow. Ow. Ow.
Then there was the time I was walking the perimeter wearing 1st gen NVGs. You could not discern wire with those, as I found out to my considerable discomfort.
ahaha.
